Hannibal Descender - Abseiling/Rappeling Device

Specifically designed for canyoning, the Edelrid Hannibal Descender is an advanced figure of eight with multiple breaking options. Edelrid designed it to use just like a standard figure eight but you can then utilise the 4 'horns' to add various amounts of friction if needed. This is particularly useful when ropes are wet, using different diameter ropes, have extra weight like a back pack or in a rescue situation.

- Multiple breaking positions using the horns adds different amounts of friction
- Internal rubber ring holds carabiner in place preventing dangerous cross loading
